Penguins who spent months in lockdown finally cheered up — with bubbles

By | July 16, 2020

At this zoo, the bird is the word.

Penguins at the Newquay Zoo in Cornwall, England are living it up after someone donated a bubble machine for the snowy birds.

Adorable video shows the beaked beauties frolicking in their enclosure and pecking at the bubbles emitting from the gadget — likely a new experience for the tuxed Arctic critters.

Some of the penguins can be seen chasing the soap suds — and they’re having the time of their lives.

The dapper animals usually waddle away their boredom through feeding shows and interacting with zoo patrons, according to Newsflare — but they haven’t had any visitors since the coronavirus lockdown.
