Their results provide clarity for prospective parents of newborns at risk for celiac disease as well as reassurance for parents who have often wondered if whatever feeding practice they took might have contributed to the risk of celiac disease in their children. These studies were large, multicenter, with long-term follow-up, and the results of their interventions were resoundingly negative.
